I want to.......really........

I don't know where my head has been lately but I've found it difficult to put my thoughts into words.

I love this blog. I read it every day. I do wish we commented more on each other's posts but I'm not good at it either.

I don't have a word for Wednesday. I do have a report for Finished Friday. I will save it for then!

Cindy and Ruth, I mentioned I loved the Wizard of Oz books when I was growing up. A few years ago, I bought a set of them at a yard sale. If you would like to read another one (one that hasn't been a movie......yet........) please let me know and I will be sure to give them to you to borrow at Easter. Or, at least, look at them.

Christie and Karen--did you read R.L. Stine books?

  1. When I see R. L. Stine, I think poetry... but that's Silverstein, haha! And I don't think I ever read R. L. Stine books.

  2. Do you remember when the boys, Ruth, and I met RL Stine? It was one of the coolest things ever. :)
I have struggled with whether Goosebumps are okay, but I cannot threaten the school to remove them. The ones we have here belonged to Brian and DJ, maybe even Nate. For the guys, these were the books they got through RIF, and to be truthful, as long as they were reading quality books, I let it go.

  3. I knew there was a reason RL Stine sounded so familiar. I don't think the girls read Goosebumps but it could be I was being really legalistic at the time and didn't let them. I think an open conversation with your kids is probably better. I'm glad Ruth is reading! Go Ruth!

  4. I remember having one goosebumps book, but I don't know if I ever actually read it because, as mom said, we weren't allowed. I was probably too scared to anyway...wussy that I was. They're pretty harmless, though.
